Last night I received a comment from a loving grandmother who clearly cares about the health and well being of her grandchildren. She’s searching for healthy popsicles now that the warm weather is once again here. I would never have thought about posting about our “pops” and am thankful for the idea! I make these a couple times a week and one of my favorite times of the day is sitting on the front steps with my kids watching as we try to guess which type of vehicle will come by while we eat our sweet, yummy pops.
Yummy Sun Pops
- Cut up whatever fruit you have and place it in the blender. Our favorites include strawberries, blueberries, mango, banana and melons.
- Puree it up
- Pour into molds (I use BPA and Phthalate free Trovolo molds)
These are also great for teething babies. When my son was teething I used these ring pop molds and blended plain goat’s yogurt with fresh blueberries. Healthy, sugar free way to numb the discomfort and tasty too!
